The Delwood II neighborhood is a lovely, tree-filled oasis bordered by IH-35 to the west, the old Mueller Airport property to the north and east, and Airport Boulevard to the south. The neighborhood consists of seven square blocks of homes built in the late 1940′s, apartments, two churches, and a commercial zoned area along IH-35 access road. The homes are primarily owner-occupied, and many have been updated and are well maintained. Delwood II has a highly diverse population with a mixture of young families, original homeowners, gay households, and every major ethnic, racial and religious group.
