As a native Texan, I’ve lived and worked in Austin since attending college. After receiving B.F.A. and M.A. degrees from the University of Texas at Austin, I held high profile positions with the Texas House of Representatives, the University of Texas, and other institutions of higher education within the city. But it was working for the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce to bring high-tech businesses to Austin that I found my calling. Showing visitors the quality-of-life offerings of our city, I realized that real estate was my future and indeed, the profession has provided some of the most rewarding experiences of my life!
During the past 15 years, I have developed master-level negotiating skills, a sensitivity to environmental concerns, and extensive experience with relocation clients. I serve on the prestigious Professional Standards Committee for the Austin Board of Realtors, am an Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), a Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), a member of Texas Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Austin Board of Realtors and Austin Central Texas MLS. Other interests include active membership with the Thankful Hubbard Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Historic Preservation Chair and steering committee officer for the Cherrywood Neighborhood Association, Treasurer. I also volunteer for the Interfaith Hospitality Network of Austin providing temporary shelter for homeless families, a project that is dear to my heart.
Experiencing Austin is my love and selling Austin is my life! So if you’d like your real estate experience handled with honesty, integrity and sprinkled with little West Texas humor, I can guarantee you many happy trails!
